FAQ
Common questions before you start a trial
Is RunCue free?
No. There's no permanent free plan. A 15-minute, no-card trial runs the full timer, then Pro is $19/mo and Team is $49/mo.
Why would I pay instead of using a free timer?
Free stage timers exist, but they cap you — stagetimer.io's free Starter plan allows 3 live connections and 3 timers per room, and Ontime is free only if you host and maintain the server yourself. RunCue is hosted with no connection cap and includes private producer cue cards on every plan.
What happens after the 15-minute trial?
The room locks when the 15-minute live trial runs out — that clock starts at your first Start, not at room creation, so setup time doesn't count against it. Nothing you built is lost: your segments, templates, and branding are saved, and choosing a plan restores that exact room instead of starting you over. Choose Pro ($19/mo) to keep it going with every template and custom branding, or Team ($49/mo) to also remove RunCue branding from display links.
Do I need to install anything?
No. RunCue runs entirely in the browser. Create a room, then share the separate control, stage, and audience links.
What if RunCue isn't a fit after I pay?
Your first Pro or Team charge is refundable in full within 14 calendar days — email hello.runcue@gmail.com with your Gumroad receipt number or room ID. See the Refund Policy for details.
Do I have to keep paying after my event is over?
No. Plans are month-to-month with no minimum term — subscribe the week of your webinar and cancel anytime afterward from your Gumroad library (gumroad.com/library), no email required. A single-event subscription is a normal, fair way to use RunCue.
