Timer for vFairs
vFairs counts down to a session's start. It never times the session itself.
The speaker opens the stage link for a real, running countdown throughout their segment. The producer keeps the timer and private cues on a separate control link, alongside vFairs' own session tools.

RunCue
A live speaker countdown, not just a pre-session waiting screen.
RunCue works alongside vFairs in a separate browser tab. It does not install as an integration or access your vFairs account, event, or attendee data.

| Timer | Speaker visibility | Producer control | Cue context | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| vFairs countdowns | Attendees only, before a session goes live -- not during the speaker's own segment | Set a session start time in advance; nothing to adjust once a segment is live | No cue notes; it's a pre-session waiting screen, not an interactive timer | Building anticipation before a live session starts |
| RunCue browser room | Separate stage and audience links showing a live, adjustable countdown throughout the session | Separate control link with private producer cues across every segment, nothing to install | Cue cards for every segment plus Reset between rehearsal and live events | vFairs conference sessions with a run of show and speakers who need to see time remaining in their segment |

FAQ
Using RunCue with vFairs
Does vFairs have a live speaker timer or show-clock?
No. vFairs' webinar and virtual-conference pages describe a countdown timer shown to attendees before a session starts, for planning purposes -- nothing runs or is visible to the speaker once the session is live.
What does vFairs' countdown timer actually do?
It's an attendee-facing timer shown ahead of a live session, so attendees know when it will start. It isn't visible to the speaker while presenting and it doesn't track time remaining in the segment.
Why use RunCue beside vFairs?
Use RunCue when your speaker needs a real, running countdown during their own session and the producer wants private cue notes across a multi-session conference schedule -- independent of vFairs' own session tools.
Does RunCue connect to my vFairs account?
No. RunCue runs in a separate browser tab and does not access your vFairs account, event, or attendee data.
Is RunCue free?
No. There's no permanent free plan. A 15-minute, no-card trial runs the full timer, then Pro is $19/mo and Team is $49/mo.
Is there a trial?
Yes -- and there's no rush to set it up. You get up to 7 days to build the run of show before any clock starts; the 15-minute live trial begins only once you press Start, and it includes the live timer, separate role links, cues, Reset, and segment editing before the room locks.
